Flexible Magnetic/Physical Properties

Flexible Magnets cover a wide variety of products, including Magnetic Strips, Magnetic Sheets, Magnetic Labels, and even printable magnetic media. Our wide range of flexible magnet comes in varying thicknesses, sizes, and colors including a range with a write on wipe off laminate that can be used with water based whiteboard markers. These magnets are typically made from Strontium or Barium Ferrite powder in a polymer base. We do have a small range of flexible magnets made with Neodymium, these are more costly than our strontium stock due to the higher cost to manufacture them. They are also not suitable for sensitive surfaces as they will scratch due to the flakes of Neodymium Magnet.

Our flexible magnet is extremely popular in craft use and also for magnetic removable vehicle signage where the magnetic sheets can be easily removed and stored by rolling them up when not needed. This allows for repeated use of flexible magnetic signs without damaging the vehicle or the sign itself. Unlike our normal magnetic sheeting stock, our CARMAG product has a protective backing that reduces abrasion without compromising on magnetism making it the only magnets sheet safe for use on a vehicle without damaging paint.

Warehouses are another area that make use of our Magnetic labels and Magnetic Strip as they can be easily cut to size with scissors and written on using water based- whiteboard markers—ideal for labeling in busy environments like warehouses. These labels can be reused over and over thanks to their write on wipe off laminate.

If a more permanent solution is required, we have a range of Magnetic Labels and Magnetic Strip that do not have a laminated surface making them ideal for having a sticker can be applied to their surface or by using a permanent marker. As stock moves or changes, these labels can be quickly repositioned or removed as needed.
