Uses for our 60mm x 32mm x 10mm Ceramic Ring:
Ceramic Rings or Ferrite Rings are used in a variety of applications ranging from audio speakers, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment in hospitals to even screwdrivers. A Ceramic ring also provides a low-cost option for school projects and the creation of fishing magnet projects to demonstrate the attraction of a magnet to a ferrous object.
Larger Ceramic Rings are also used in the food industry as a magnetic separator around pipework’s to extract ferrous contaminants.
By adding a steel surround like our Ceramic pot range, these rings can be used as holding magnets for construction purposes as the steel surround changes the magnetic field to be a stronger single sided magnet and also protects the ring from chipping/breaking.
