Our 300Kg Lifting Magnet has a length of 162mm, a width of 92mm and a height of 92mm. This Superlifter is made from a steel housing with a neodymium magnet that can be switched on and off by using the handle. push down when on a steel surface to lock the lifter on and push the button on the handle while lifting up to release.

This lifting magnet has a rated lifting force of 300 Kg and a cylindrical lifting force of 100kgs. These ratings are against a minimum of 40mm thick steel and have a 3:1 safety factor meaning that in reality they can lift three times their rated lifting capacity.
Do not intentionally overload beyond their safe lifting capacity.

Uses for our 300Kg Lifting Magnet:

Our Magnetic Lifters are a safe versatile way of moving steel plates around the factory no matter if they are blocks, flat steel plates or cylinders in a hands free environment to decrease injury risks to operators.
By using high grade Neodymium magnets, our Superlifters boast a high 3:1 safety factor allowing them to have a strong magnetic hold on any surface. Simply rotate the handle to the ON position to activate the magnetic field and have the lifter clamp down onto a ferrous object. When you want to release it, ensure the lifter is not under any load and push in the button on the handle to disengage the magnetic field. Move items around using the strong shackle on the unit which cam pivot 90 degrees to allow for vertical lifting.

These lifters are used in a wide range of industries such as sheet metal working or even general factory work to portable hydraulic cranes.
Being magnetically powered allows these magnets to operate in remote areas with no electricity allowing for an easy solution where power access can be problematic.

All of Magnets Australia’s Magnetic Lifters are compliant with the AS 4991-2004 safety standard which requires a tear-off force of at least 3 times rated capacity for permanent lifting magnets for safe operation.
Any magnetic lifters that do not meet at least a 3:1 Safety Factor, does not comply with the Australian/NZ Standard for the legal requirements of safe operation and therefore should not be used.

When lifting cylindrical objects be aware that the holding force is reduced to one third of the rated lifting capacity.
The same applies for lifting sheets/blocks vertically as the shear force that will be experienced by the magnet is only one third of the rated pull force, cylindrical objects will be a third of a third for shear force.
