Our standard 650mm wide Overhead Conveyor Magnet made from Y30 Grade Ceramic Magnet and is suitable for belts up to 600mm wide. The unit has a maximum mounting height of 200mm from the bottom of the belt with a maximum belt speed of 4.5m/s.
Do not mount higher than the recommended mounting height as this will result in the magnetic field being too weak at the belt to effectively extract contaminant through your product stream.
These are made to order and have a lead time of 10-12 weeks from placement of order.

Uses for our Overhead Conveyor Magnets:
Our overhead conveyor magnets are ideal at filtering through product to remove any ferrous contaminants automatically without the need for an operator. Any ferrous contaminant will be attracted to the static magnet pack in the system and be ejected from the line by the conveyor into a bin for disposal.
By having standardized mounting eyelets, these can be hung easily above a conveyor line without needing major modifications to your existing line.
These are widely used in various industries such as in plastics production to protect their product from ferrous contamination and machinery from damage caused by any rogue ferrous items in the line.
Available with customized belt and motor options including an explosion resistant belt for powdered products or even a full Neodymium model for a stronger magnetic field, these systems can be easily augmented to fit your requirements.
