Uses for our Food/Dairy Grade Grids:

Our Magnetic Grids utilize powerful Neodymium Magnetic Rods to extract ferrous contaminant from product streams and retain it until it can be cleaned by operators.
By being lightweight and portable they can be easily installed into an existing line with minimum or no modifications allowing them to get straight to work. When done they are easy to remove from the line for inspection and cleaning.

These are widely used in various industries such as in food and baby formula production sites to protect their product from ferrous contamination and machinery from damage caused by any rogue ferrous items in the line.
Made to the HACCP 0909MAGSEP 2-2024 International Food Safety Standard, these magnetic grids fit requirements for Australasia’s rigorous food safety requirements.

These systems have a maximum heat tolerance and subjecting them to temperatures above their max tolerance will cause them to loose a portion of their magnetism permanently. For this units max temperature tolerance please see above.
Take extreme care while handling these systems as they can cause severe injury if mishandled.

To remove built up contaminant while wearing thick leather cloves for safety, use a rag or cloth to wipe all ferrous contaminant to one end of the grid, then using a firm hold grab the swarf (ferrous buildup) and dispose of in a non-ferrous container such as plastic. For the smaller difficult to remove ferrous contaminant, use a food grade tape, applying to the rod and removing until you have removed all the swarf.
Once complete, use an approved food grade alcohol based cleaner to remove any leftover sticky residue from the tape.
