What is the difference between 0.65mm, 0.85mm and 0.95mm thick sheeting?

The strength of a magnet is directly related to the amount of magnetic material present. Therefore, our range of magnetic sheeting is available in various thicknesses, including 0.4mm, 0.6mm, and 0.8mm. You can select the thickness that best suits your application based on the required holding strength.

0.65mm Thickness

This is generally the most suitable option for those printing directly onto the magnetic material, where the magnet only needs to support its own weight.

0.85mm Thickness

This thickness is commonly used for attaching to printed paper and card materials in advertising. Our Standard Magnet sheets are available in this thickness for a good balance between magnetic hold, weight and price.

0.95mm Thickness

The thickest option, this is the only magnet suitable for use on vehicles, as it provides sufficient strength to withstand movement and wind forces.
