What type of printer can I use for magnetic sheets and magnetic paper?

The maximum temperature that flexible magnetic material can withstand is 80°C, so we strongly advise against using a laser printer to print directly onto magnetic sheets. Laser printers operate at higher internal temperatures that can damage the material and cause them to demagnise.

According to our manufacturers, inkjet printers are the best option for printing onto printable magnetic sheets. Since inkjet printers do not reach the high temperatures of laser printers, they are safe to use with flexible magnetic materials.

For commercial printing needs, our range of white magnetic sheeting is also suitable for CMYK ultraviolet (UV) curable printing, ensuring high-quality and durable results.
We are also able to direct print onto our magnet using our wide format latex based printers. Contact us to arrange pricing to have print applied to your magnet.

Using our wide format media we printed the largest indoor magnets for New Zealand’s SnowPlanet. View the results here.
